The Global RLI Awards judging team is a group of leading industry experts who will review eligible submissions and score them confidentially and inform the RLI Awards team. The panel will not review entries from their own companies or any entry that might constitute a conflict of interest.
Tom Cartledge

He has evolved Benoy’s remit to provide design solutions across the entire lifecycle of a development, from conception to delivery.

Under his helm, Benoy operates in 40 countries to deliver transformative design, including landmark projects like Terminal 4, Jewel Changi Airport, Singapore; ICONSIAM, Thailand; Alibaba Headquarters, China; Mercedes-Benz, UK; Solitaire, Saudi Arabia and Royalmount, Canada.

Pete is a professional non-executive director and strategy consultant working primarily in the real estate sector. Over almost four decades, Pete has worked on performance delivery and portfolio positioning for a diverse range of owners including FTSE listed companies, prop co’s and the public sector, primarily focused on retail and leisure led assets.
Pete’s outlook emphasises the impact of good design on asset lifecycle performance alongside high quality, well informed ongoing management, where data and thoughtful human elements can combine to deliver resilient, long-term outperformance for owners and occupiers by creating enduring places people engage with.
Michael Dyke

Michael Dyke is the Chief Executive Officer of New Murabba Development Company, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) that is leading the development of New Murabba, a transformative destination in Riyadh that will redefine urban downtown living, in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
Michael brings over 37 years of experience leading large-scale business enterprises and projects across multiple sectors and geographies. Prior to joining New Murabba Development Company, he held a number of impactful leadership roles, including CEO for Major Projects at Balfour Beatty, where he was a member of the Group Executive Committee, responsible for the company’s interest in HS2, Europe’s largest infrastructure project. Other career highlights have included serving as the Executive Director at Skanska, CEO at eight20-Utilities and Managing Director at Lend Lease.
Michael's breadth of experience encompasses diverse sectors, where he has consistently delivered complex projects that shape infrastructure, energy, construction and real estate landscapes.
Shane Eldstrom

Shane Eldstrom is a distinguished leader in global retail real estate, with a career spanning multiple continents and some of the industry’s most ambitious developments. As CEO of United Developers, he oversees a diverse portfolio that includes Place Vendome, luxury hospitality assets, and entertainment ventures in Qatar.
With extensive leadership experience, Shane has held key roles such as CEO of Al Farwaniya Property Developments, President of the Middle East Council of Shopping Centres, and Vice President of NREC (PLC). His expertise lies in transforming visionary projects into thriving commercial destinations, leveraging strategic planning, market insight, and innovation.
An Urban Land Economist with an MBA from INSEAD in France, Shane combines academic excellence with hands-on industry leadership. His impact extends beyond boardrooms, shaping the future of retail, mixed-use developments, and commercial real estate on a global scale.
Karrie Goldberg

Karrie is the true embodiment of a modern-day entrepreneur. At the forefront of a number of notable endeavours, including Outernet Venues, The Kagency, Paladin Artists & Loupe, Karrie has forged a unique path to hone her passions and turn them into life-long projects.
Karrie began her career in Tokyo in a Big4 accounting firm but quickly realized the corporate world was just not ready for her. So, she moved to New York City and set up The Kagency in 2004, a one-stop-shop for advertising and PR agencies, event planners and brands to source venues and talent across the US and Europe. The Kagency has programmed and managed spaces for artists such as Madonna, Lady Gaga, Brian Eno, Beyoncé and The Estate of Basquiat as well as supporting the creative endeavours of mega brands including Nike, Google, HBO, Louis Vuitton and Cartier. Today the company has access to over 800 locations and a powerful talent roster of female DJs and industry mega names like Duran Duran's Roger Taylor, Glen Matlock of the Sex Pistols, five-time Grammy nominated Thomas Dolby and street artist Nick Walker, to name a few.
Karrie remains actively involved in both David Shephard Wildlife Foundation and Troubadour Theatres.

A knowledgeable and passionate leader, Antony Lindsay is a results-driven and commercially astute executive with 25 years’ experience shaping the trajectory of world-renowned, hard luxury brands.
As CEO of Fabergé, Antony has steered Fabergé through transformative development, reviving the company’s global presence and reaffirming its reputation and status as one of the most iconic names in luxury. Leveraging his expertise in P&L management, stakeholder relations and international operations, his visionary leadership has been instrumental in expanding the brand’s international footprint.
His direction continues to drive sustainable growth, blending tradition with forward-thinking strategies. In 2020, his leadership expanded further when he was promoted to the Board of Directors of Gemfields UK Ltd (Fabergé’s parent company), complementing his continued contributions to Fabergé's success.

Having joined RLI in 2013, James has been involved in the Global RLI Awards for the last twelve years in various roles and has been a judge on many occasions since beginning his role as Editor of the RLI magazine. In 2025 the Global RLI Awards returns to London and will continue to strive for excellence and highlight key global projects. James is delighted to be a judge once again as we build up to the twentieth edition of the Global RLI Awards, merging the power of face-to-face connections in a unique location that possesses an abundance of opportunities to be explored.
Barbara Somogyiova

Barbara Somogyiova is the Chief Commercial Officer Global at Fox Group, a leading operator of Nike Stores Partnered across four continents. She is responsible for the expansion and fleet management of Nike and other partner stores across 16 EMEA markets, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Prior, she was the Director of International Leasing at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, managing a diverse portfolio of key accounts and premium destination assets in Europe and the United States. Before URW, Barbara acted as the European Director of Leasing at NEINVER and specialised in managing and developing commercial properties, especially factory outlets and retail parks, across France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain and the Netherlands. She lives in the Netherlands with husband Roberto and sons Aidan and Ryan.
Micheal Ward

Michael began his career in chartered accountancy, training originally with Ernst and Young in 1980, before taking his first Group Finance Director position at Bassett Foods PLC in 1986 gaining an MBA during this time. In 1989 he was appointed Group Finance Director of H.P. Bulmer Holdings PLC, before moving in to the retail space in 1994 as Managing Director of Lloyds Chemists PLC. After a period of senior directorship roles in retail, Michael was invited to join Harrods as Managing Director in 2005. During his time at Harrods, he has overseen programmes of huge growth and expansion both in the UK and globally within the brand, as well as the transition to new ownership by the Qatar Investment Authority in 2010.
Michael is a prominent figure in the realm of luxury, holding the esteemed position of Chairman at Walpole, the prestigious official sector body representing the UK luxury industry. His influence extends further as he joined the V&A Corporate Advisory Board in August 2020, leveraging his expertise to contribute to the museum's strategic decisions. He also holds the position of Chairman at Knightsbridge Partnership, driving forward the Knightsbridge BID’s goal to transform Knightsbridge into the number-one luxury retail and hospitality destination in London. Most recently, in January 2024, Michael has been appointed as the President of the European Cultural and Creative Industries Alliance (ECCIA).
